On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 6, 2018, police found the body of Tyrone Fleming with apparent stab wounds. He was discovered in his Bronx-NY apartment. So what happened to Fleming? It seems his life was going great, with his growing success in the YouTube crime drama series, 848. Our Tyrone Fleming wiki will attempt to shed some light on what we know about his life and death so far.
Tyrone Fleming Wiki
Forty-year-old Brooklyn native Tyrone Fleming was a father, brother, husband-to-be, and actor. He lived in the Bronx at the time of his death.
He left behind two children: a 16-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. His Instagram account is full of photos of his kids, so he was clearly a devoted father.
His sister Tiffany Tucker was 32 at the time of his death.
He was engaged to 40-year-old Tameka Corners.
Fleming’s move into acting was a natural progression from his artistic, athletic childhood. He said he took part in talent shows and gymnastics and played football and basketball.
“I’ve never been a superstar, but I’ve always been above-average,” he said in in a JGTMTV interview.
Though he garnered attention through YouTube, Fleming regularly shared clips and photos of his job at Con Ed, where he’s worked since at least May 2018.
Fleming’s Social Media Presence
Not surprisingly, the YouTube web series actor had a strong online presence. He was followed by 1,000+ people on Facebook and had an additional 1,000+ friends. Fleming didn’t actually write much about himself on his Facebook page, but he did identify himself as “Tye Banga #848.”
His last public Facebook post was an update of his profile photo on November 26, 2017. In it, Fleming is wearing a skull mask and pointing a gun to his head.
Other photos posted by Tyrone Fleming in 2017 show the online star lounging around outside, enjoying a drink while on vacation, and singing.
On March 17, 2017, the actor uploaded an image of a bullet with “Tye” inked on the side.
Tyrone Fleming’s Instagram account is followed by 1,700+ people and contains 26,600+ posts.
On Instagram, Fleming says of himself, “Tye ßanga of Web Series 848 I was dope b4 social media.”
One recently uploaded post proclaimed “Spread Love Not Hate.”
He had people he loved and a webseries with growing success, but, like so many others, Fleming hints at depression in a number of posts: “When does depression end? When it ends you; I’m sick of my mind, why is it always a dark place…? I’m a positive person but why is it so hard to stay like that?”
Yet another post portends, “Sometimes I wonder if I died would anyone even care? I guess not.”
Fleming also shows off his sense of humor (and wisdom!) on his Instagram account: “Teach Your Daughter The 7 B’s…Books Before Boys Because Boys Bring Babies.”
“848” Web Series
Tyrone Fleming was gaining a growing base of fans through his character Tye Banga from the Bronx-based YouTube crime series, 848.
The channel, 848WebSeries, has nearly 20,000 followers.
The story centers on The Cleanup Crew; drug dealers who hope to conquer as much of Bronx as possible, no matter what the cost.
As if often the case, with a motto that includes eliminating any hurdles, many quarrels are settled with the nozzle of a gun. The resulting carnage leaves a trail of murders, crying widows, kidnapping, larceny, and betrayal.
Fleming loved his role as Tye Banga. And was happy the show was so popular with people in New York.
He said that what he loved most about 848 fans is that “We interact with the fans and the fans interact with us”
What Does 848 Signify?
848 is a Title 21 United States Code (USC) Control Substance Act; otherwise known as the “Kingpin Charge.” It carries a mandatory prison term of 20 years to life.
Season Three of 848 Postponed
Season three of 848 was supposed to start on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
However, it was postponed for reasons that were unknown at the time.
Antoine “Inch” Thomas, who writes the show and plays Benny Brick, left a cryptic message on Instagram.
“Please everyone, please, please, please,” he wrote. “848 will not air tonight. Idk when. Please, everyone, we need some privacy please.”
