Massachusetts State Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run in Revere on Monday (April 9). A female pedestrian was struck by the vehicle and is in the hospital in serious condition. The MSP asked the public for help in solving this case.
Massachusetts State Police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian with his vehicle on Route 145 in Revere at around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. The motorist immediately fled after the crash. Initial reports said that the pedestrian, a woman, was killed in the crash, but the latest reports say that was incorrect.
Victim in Serious Condition
The female victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where staff resuscitated her. However, she remains in critical condition.
Her identity has not yet been disclosed by the MSP at this time. No fatalities have been reported as of yet.
Suspect Vehicle Possibly a SUV
According to reports, the suspect’s vehicle is a dark, possibly blue or black, SUV that may have suffered some body damage due to the incident.
MSP are currently working on getting additional descriptive information about the vehicle and driver, which will be released later.
This investigation is being conducted by Troop A of the MSP, with help from the State Police Crime Scene Services, State Police detectives, and State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction.

The police requested the public’s help, urging anyone with information about the case, or who sees a vehicle matching the description to call 911, or State Police-Revere at 781-284-0038. The investigation is currently active.
