Toronto Police Plans to Update on Investigation After Bruce McArthur’s Court Appearance Today

Toronto Police is all set to offer an update into the investigation of alleged serial killer Bruce McArthur. Given below are some of the details.

The news conference where Toronto Police will be giving out the details of the investigation has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Hours before that Bruce McArthur will be appearing in a Toronto court by video.

According to reports, it is not known what the investigators will be talking about during the update. On January 18, McArthur, who is a self-employed landscaper was arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of Selim Esen and Andrew Kinsman. He was arrested after several months-long investigation into the cases of missing men from the city’s Church-Wellesley Village.

On January 29, officials revealed that McArthur was charged with three more counts of first-degree murder related to the deaths of Dean Lisowick, Majeed Kayhan and Soroush Mahmudi.

A month later, on February 23, McArthur was charged with a sixth count of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Skandaraj Navaratnam. As of now, the charges against McArthur haven’t been proven in court. His last appearance in court was on March 14 by video when his case was postponed until Wednesday, April 11.
