There has been another school shooting in the United States, this time in Maryland at Great Mills High School.

The Latest Details on Great Mills High School Shooting
Great Mills High School is currently on lockdown after some type of shooting incident earlier this morning. According to officials, the incident has been contained. Maryland State Police, the Baltimore detachment of the FBI, and the local Sheriff’s department are all aware of the incident and are either on the scene or en route.
Parents of students of Great Mills High School should not attempt to pick up their children. Instead, they are being told to head to Leonardtown High School’s auditorium.
While there’s no official word on what the incident was or how many people were involved, NBC 4 reported that there were multiple injuries involved in the shooting. Hopefully, there will be more official news shortly.
Shooter Dead, Two Victims
According to officials, shortly after 8:00 a.m. on March 20, a male student entered Great Mills High School and proceeded to shoot two other students, a 16-year-old female, and a 14-year-old male. After the initial shooting, a school resource officer, who was also a trained, armed deputy sheriff, exchanged gunfire with the shooter. The officer was not injured during the exchange.
The male student is in good condition at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, while the female student is currently listed in stable condition at University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center. The shooter, on the other hand, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is currently unclear as to how the shooter ended up dead.
