Los Angeles police are hunting for Daniel Plascencia, a man they claim is armed and dangerous. He allegedly shot his cousin to death in Huntington Park, California.
Police were called to the 3400 block of Grand Avenue at approximately 1:19 p.m. after an unnamed victim was shot in what is believed to be a family disturbance.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was told that an altercation had taken place between Daniel Plascencia, 28, and his cousin.
At some point, Plascencia allegedly pulled a gun.
The victim suffered at least one shot to the chest. He was later transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
As officials are still in the process of notifying next of kin, the victim has not been identified at this time.
After the incident, Plascencia fled the area. He was last seen heading south on State Street on a bicycle. The murder weapon has not yet been found.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives describe Daniel Plascencia as a Hispanic male, standing approximately 6’0″ tall and weighing around 200 lbs. He has a shaved head and tattoos on both arms.

Plascencia was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and shiny black basketball shorts.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.
