San Francisco Church Stabbing: 1 Woman Dead, 1 Man Injured

A man stabbed a woman, believed to be his wife or girlfriend, at the Chinese Christian Church on Chester Avenue in the Ingleside area of San Francisco on March 25, 2018. Police arrived at the scene, and are trying to find out the cause of this fatal domestic dispute.

A man and a woman, believed to be a couple, were at the Chinese Christian Church on Chester Avenue in the Ingleside Heights district of San Francisco, California, on Sunday when a domestic dispute broke out. They were talking to the church’s pastor at the time.

According to witnesses, the man stabbed the woman with a knife right in front of the pastor. He then reportedly stabbed himself with the knife. The San Francisco police responded to the domestic violence incident at the church at 2:11 p.m.

Woman Succumbs to Injuries

The woman was taken to a local hospital, but succumbed to her wounds. The man was also taken to a hospital, suffering from what the police confirmed to be “self-inflicted stab wounds.” The San Francisco Police Department homicide detail arrived at the scene and are investigating the incident.

Cause of Dispute to be Determined

At this moment, the identity of the deceased woman and suspect are unknown. But the police are investigating to determine what happened during the dispute, and how it turned deadly.
