Police Looking for Suspects in Shooting Near Phoenix Store

Police in Phoenix, Arizona are searching for a number of suspects after shots rang out at a gas station, leaving one man dead at the scene.

Death at a Gas Station

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on May 4, a silver car pulled up to a parking lot near the Valero gas station located at 51st Avenue and Baseline Road. Witnesses told police that the silver car appeared to be followed by a white car.

As soon as a person exited the silver car, multiple suspects in the white car reportedly began to open fire on him. The victim ran into a nearby store, but was followed by one suspect from the white car. Inside the store, the suspect managed to fire a bullet into the victim.

The suspect got back into the white car, and the group drove off.

Aftermath of the Shooting, and How You Can Help

Despite the timely arrival of emergency crews, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. There were other occupants in the silver car, but apparently, the vehicle fled once the shooting began. It was later found nearby with no one inside.

Police are looking to talk to anyone who may have seen what happened, or might have knowledge that could help them capture the multiple suspects involved in the shooting.
