One Man Killed in Chesterfield County Parking Lot Shooting

In Chesterfield County, Virginia, police are looking for the community’s help after a man was found shot multiple times in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Man Found Shot Multiple Times

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday (April 29) evening, police were called to a parking lot at Ivy Walk Apartments, located in the 4900 block of Burnt Oak Drive.

In the parking lot, police discovered a male victim in a car suffering from three gunshots to the chest. The victim was immediately brought by ambulance to Chippenham Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Investigation Continues

Chesterfield County police are still looking into what led to the shooting, and few details are being released.

We do know that neighbors reported hearing four or five gunshots before the victim was discovered. In an effort to locate and track the shooter, a helicopter equipped with thermal imaging cameras was utilized in the area.
