One Man Injured in Lexington Shooting

In Lexington, Kentucky, a man was shot and officials are trying to track down those who are responsible.

Neighbors Heard Shots and Then Screams

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on April 3, gunshots rang out on Cambridge Drive in the area of Oxford Circle. According to what Darren Parman told Lex18, there were multiple gunshots and then there were screams.

“We heard screaming and some guy was beating on the window and running through the yard. I guess he fell down there. We went down there to see if he’s alright. He said he was shot, but didn’t tell us where.”

The man, who appeared to be in his 20s, was taken to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. In the meantime, police are looking for anyone who may have seen or heard something that led to the shooting.
