A Fight Spirals into the Parking Lot
This story begins at the Bayou City Bar and Grill, near Grant at Hyde Park, at approximately 2:00 a.m. As the bar was closing up for the night, a fight broke out and got bad enough that it moved from the bar to the parking lot.

An Escape Gone Awry
The man got into his car and, in order to escape his assailants, stepped on the gas. Not in total control of the car, the man managed to hit four cars before plowing into a crowd of people.
There were five people injured, with one man pinned to a fence and under the car. After being released from the car, the injured man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Two other people were also brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
