Mother Injured and Daughter, 3, Critical in Philadelphia Hit and Run

Currently, a three-year-old girl is in a critical condition and fighting for her life after she and her mother were involved in a hit-and-run on Tuesday night. More details on the case are given below.

On Tuesday night, in Mayfair section of Philadelphia, a three-year-old girl was walking with her 36-year-old mother and her sibling on the sidewalk along the 3200 block of Tyson Avenue.

A driver in a white Toyota lost control of his car and jumped the curb. The driver’s car rammed into the three-year-old girl and her mother. The other child was not injured.

The kid was stuck beneath the car and six people managed to free the child.

Officials claim that after he struck the mother and the child, the driver left the car and fled the scene on foot. Investigators found drug paraphernalia in the car. Both the mother and child were hurt and taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital.

Reportedly, the mother is in stable condition now, while the girl is said to be in a critical condition. As of now, police have not yet disclosed a description of the driver and the investigation is still ongoing. As of now, no arrests have been made as the suspect is still at large.
