Parents are supposed to keep their children out of harm’s way. But in this story, it was a mother who put her young girls in danger.
|About Morgan Anne Summerlin|
|Address||Union City, GA|
According to reports, Morgan Summerlin allowed two men to sexually abuse her two girls, aged five and six at the time, in exchange for money. The matter came to light when the two victims were placed in a new guardian’s custody in April 2017, when Summerlin was imprisoned in Bay County, Florida, for an unrelated case. The young girls revealed that, on multiple occasions, their mother took them to the homes of men who raped them, before giving them money.
Richard Office and Alfred Trejo are the two men who were arrested and charged for raping the girls. Summerlin pleaded guilty, and was charged on several counts. Her sentencing is on June 4, 2018.

The account also has pictures of a baby boy, who is believed to be her son. Alfred Trejo commented on a picture of the boy, saying he wanted to “see my son,” which could mean that he is the baby’s father.
On November 24, 2010, Summerlin was reportedly arrested and charged with falsely reporting a crime, and making false statements.
It was reported that she was also involved in a DUI case in April 2017, which is why the children were under the care of temporary legal guardians when their rapes were revealed. According to the Panama City News Herald, Summerlin was charged with three counts of DUI with property damage, one count of DUI with serious injury, and three counts of child abuse after she crashed into two stopped cars, while she had three small children in the back. It is not confirmed if those three small children were Summerlin’s.
On April 26, 2018, Summerlin was charged with cruelty to children, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and trafficking a person for sexual servitude. She will be sentenced on June 4, 2018.
Summerlin’s Mother Also Faced Charges
Summerlin’s mother, Teresa Davidson was told about the abuse by the girls. For her negligence to protect them she, too, faced charges of her own.
She pleaded guilty to second-degree cruelty to children, and was sentenced to five years and to serve one commuted to the time that she had already served, with the balance on probation.
On Monday, June 4, Judge Constance Russell sentenced Morgan Summerlin to 20 years behind bars, and an additional 10 on probation. In court, the mother admitted to allowing both Richard Office and Alfredo Trejo abuse and sexually assault her daughters when they were four and five years old.
While in court, her grandfather mentioned a similar situation forced upon a 12-year-old family member. However, the prosecution did not make details of the case public. Meanwhile, Summerlin’s attorney argued a cycle of abuse, stating that the defendant was sexually abused as a child.
Summerlin will not be eligible for parole, and initially faced up to 140 years in jail. She was seen blowing kisses to her family while being escorted out of court.
Both girls, now six and seven years old, are under the care of another family member who reportedly attended the sentencing.
