Missing Florida Teen Caitlyn Frisina May Be with Coach

Authorities are searching for missing 17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina, who may be with a high school soccer coach after departing her home in Columbia County, Florida.

Frisina is believed to have snuck out of the family home via her bedroom window on November 25 or 26. She took her wallet and a change of clothes. Frisina left behind her cell phone, which had been erased of data.

At some point on November 26, Frisina stopped at an ATM in the St. Mary’s, Georgia area and withdrew $200. That’s Frisina’s last recorded whereabouts.

Caitlyn Frisina may be in the company of 27-year-old Rian Rodriguez. Rodriguez serves as the boys’ soccer coach at Fort White High School, the same high school where Frisina is a student and plays on the girls’ soccer team.

Rodriguez’s current whereabouts are unknown and his cell phone has been turned off.

The girl’s mother, Scarlet, has described Rodriguez as a family friend. Police are in possession of a text message from Frisina to one of her friends that indicates Frisina and Rodriguez may be in a relationship.

Due to these events, the Columbia County School District has suspended Rodriguez and is cooperating with the police.

In a Facebook post, the teen’s father, Ward, begged his daughter to contact him. “Her family loves her and more than anything else wants to know she is safe and not in danger!” the post read.

Caitlyn Frisina is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes. She is five-foot-seven and weighs 135 pounds.

Rodriguez is described as Hispanic and white with black hair and brown eyes. , He is five-foot-10 and weighs 220 pounds.

The duo may be traveling in Rodriguez’s 2001 red Mercury Sable. The car may still have its Florida plates with the tag Z04CSC. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (386) 719-2005.
