Man Killed in Hit-and-Run in San Diego’s Mission Hills, Suspect at Large

A hit and run in the Mission Hills district of San Fransisco left a man dead and police trying to find the suspect.

An Early Morning Crash Leaves One Man Dead

At around midnight on March 22, police began to receive calls about a man walking on West Washington Street, west of Interstate 5 and east of Highway 101.

When police arrived at the scene around 20 minutes later, they found a man lying on the side of the road. He was declared dead at the scene. According to NBC 7, in the area of the crash, a spilled shopping cart was seen as well as tire marks in the asphalt nearby. A hat and beer can could also be seen.

A portion of West Washington Street was closed off while the investigation took place. It remained closed until approximately 7:20 a.m.
