Many a parent’s worst nightmare is going to the police station because of something their child did. On Saturday, Joseph Hayden Boston was taken to the Riverside police station by his mother after he allegedly confessed to her that he’d sexually molested an eight-year-old and a four-year-old in a motel room at Simply Home Inn & Suites in Riverside, California.
Reportedly, in an interview with the authorities, Boston confessed to the molestation at the motel. Even more shockingly, he also reportedly revealed that he had molested somewhere around 50 kids since he was 10 years old.
The reported assaults took place in different cities in which he’s lived in Southern California, including Riverside, Lakewood, and Buena Park.
Boston was arrested and charged with two counts of oral copulation on a child under the age of 10. Additionally, he is imprisoned in lieu of fronting $1.0-million bail. Boston’s hearing is scheduled for December 6, 2017.
According to the police report, the two victims were staying at the motel with their families. The parents allowed the children to go to the suspect’s room, which is where the alleged molestation happened.
In the statement, the authorities revealed that a few hours later, Boston called up his mother and told her what had happened.
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities believe other victims who were allegedly molested by Boston have not yet come forward.
The court hearing on Wednesday will decide Boston’s fate for the near term.
