Heather Locklear’s Troubled History
Heather Locklear is well-known to police. In 2008, the T.J. Hooker alum was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. No alcohol or illegal narcotics were found in her system and she was charged with one misdemeanor count of DUI.
At the time, it was thought that medication Locklear was taking for anxiety and depression could have impaired her ability to drive her vehicle safely. She plead no contest to reckless driving and the DUI charge was dropped. She was handed three years of informal probation, a driver safety class, and $700.00 fine.
In 2011, the LAPD went to her then fiancé Jack Wagner’s home after the two allegedly became violent with each other. According to police, Locklear got physical with Wagner and he retaliated. Neither wanted to press charges against the other.
Before her rocky relationship with Wagner ended in 2012, Locklear was married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee (1986 to 1993) and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora (1994 to 2007).
