Ex-Porn Star Dorthe Damsgaard Claims Peter Madsen Invited Her on Sub Before Murder

A former porn star has come forward with a story about her encounter with alleged murderer Peter Madsen, including an invite to his submarine, the alleged scene of journalist Kim Wall’s murder.

Ex-porn actress Dorthe Damsgaard has claimed that Danish engineer and inventor Peter Madsen invited her on a submarine ride. She says that Madsen, who is on trial for the murder of journalist Kim Wall, has a dark side that becomes apparent when you know him long enough. This is her story.

Meeting a Future Murder Suspect

Dorthe Damsgaard is a retired porn star who starred in films with titles like Girls Inc., SexOramma, and Love in Copenhagen. In an interview with Danish news site BT, Damsgaard spoke about meeting Madsen nine years ago and how he invited her on his sub.

She explained that she was often contacted by men due to their interest in porn, and Madsen was no exception. What made him a little different was the fact that he was definitely clever and Damsgaard thought it would be good for her to get to know someone like that.

But along with his cleverness came an apparent dark side. Based on a particular moment at her apartment, it seemed he could switch at a moment’s notice. Damsgaard said (translated from Danish):

“At one point I stretched out for a glass, and then he grabbed my hand firmly and held tight. He did not say anything, he just kept stuck. I said it hurt, but he kept stuck. Then suddenly he suddenly got away and began to talk about the valves in his submarine.”

A Close Call?

According to Damsgaard, once the submarines he was working on were built, Madsen would constantly invite her aboard.

While Damsgaard eventually went to the port to see the subs, she would never board them. She had a bad feeling about what may happen on one. She told the engineer her reluctance was due to claustrophobia.

A few weeks after her last refusal, Kim Wall was dead.

Wall was last seen boarding one of Madsen’s submarines on August 10, 2017. Her remains were found washed up on shore on August 22, 2017.

Damsgaard did not report her story to police before her interview with BT.

Madsen’s trial began on March 8, 2018. He is fighting charges of murder and indecent handling of a body in the death of Wall.
