Black Man Involved in a Stolen Car and Shooting Incident Wanted by Trenton Police

Trenton police are searching for a black man who stole a car and escaped in Humboldt, Tennessee. The man was last seen wearing a black hoodie. Authorities requested the public’s help to provide any information about the suspect and incident.

A group of about six or seven people got into a verbal altercation around Second and Lexington Streets in Trenton, Tennessee, just after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (April 5). Trenton police said that witnesses heard shots fired in the area, and one person stole a car, which led to a chase.

Man Escapes after Chase

The chase rallied down to Humboldt, Tennessee, with police following the stolen car. But the driver got out of the vehicle and ditched it behind a Walmart in Humboldt. Investigators then searched the area with the help of a Madison County K9. Police placed a nearby nursing home in lock-down as a safety precaution.

Police Looking for Suspect

According to police, the driver is a black man standing between 5’6″ and 5’8″, wearing a black hoodie. Police asked for the public’s help in identifying the man at large, and for information about the group of men in Trenton.
