Amber Alert: 3 Children from Burnet County Possibly Abducted by 29-Year-Old

Three children from the Bertram area of Burnet County in Texas were reported missing. An Amber Alert has been issued, and the children are believed to be in danger.

Tekecha Quinonce, 29, is suspected to have abducted three children under the ages of 10. She is wanted by the police, and was last seen driving a car with Texas license plates.

The children missing are: Taniya Chatman, 9, Teanna Chatman, 7, and Brock Chatman, 8. They have been missing since May 21, 2018.

The last anyone heard from Quinonce was on Monday at 4:00 p.m. in Bertram.

The three children are described as having brown eyes, black hair, and are African-American.

Their parents’ whereabouts are also unknown at the moment. Quinonce is 5’2”, weighs 230 pounds, and was born on September 14, 1988. It is believed that Quinonce is driving a black 2008 Pontiac G6 with the Texas plate number: DCR-0363.

There is no information available as to what the children were last seen wearing, or where they were last seen.

It is unclear if Quinonce has a criminal record.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the abduction to call the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office at 512-756-8080.
