A 36-year-old San Jose man, who was reportedly trying to flee to Mexico, was arrested by officials on suspicion of sexually assaulting his seven-year-old step-granddaughter. Below are details of the case.
On Wednesday (March 21), it was reported that San Jose resident, Alfonso Aguilarjaimes reportedly raped his step-granddaughter in Half Moon Bay. This is reportedly not the first time he sexually assaulted the child.
When the investigation ended, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, San Jose Police Department, and U.S. Marshalls were able to arrest the suspect, Alfonso Aguilarjaimes as he was possibly trying to escape to Mexico.
