Actor Jeremy London Arrested for Domestic Violence in Mississippi

Actor Jeremy London, best known for his appearances in 7th Heaven and Party of Five, has been arrested and charged with domestic assault against Juliet Reeves, his second wife.

Actor Jeremy London was arrested in Jackson County, Mississippi on a charge of domestic violence simple assault, a misdemeanor. According to reports, London got into a dispute with his wife, Juliet Reeves. Officers responded to a call at around 12:25 Friday afternoon. By 7:40 p.m., London was released from custody on a $2,500 bond.

The 45-year-old actor is best known for his starring roles in the TV shows I’ll Fly AwayParty of Five, and 7th Heaven. He also starred in comedy film Mallrats (1995) and sci-fi action flick Journey to the Center of the Earth (1999), and had a well-received supporting role in Civil War movie Gods and Generals (2003). Most recently, in 2016, he played Chuck Lawson in an episode of the newly rebooted MacGyver.

Perhaps less well-known was London’s appearance in the fourth season of reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. In it, he was treated for addiction at the Pasadena Recovery Center. His then-wife Melissa Cunningham was being treated for addiction at the same treatment center.

London married his 7th Heaven co-star Melissa in September 2006; they divorced five years later. He married Juliet Reeves on June 3, 2014.

This is not London’s first brush with the law. In early 2012, London was charged with domestic violence after a fight with Melissa where he allegedly pulled her hair and hit her on the head. The charges were dismissed in 2013.
