In appalling news, Kyah Monroe, a teenager from North Carolina was reported missing by her parents on April 2, 2018.
Kyah Monroe is an African-American teen from Charlotte, North Carolina who was last seen leaving her residence to an unknown location. Her parents went to local authorities looking for help finding their daughter.
Monroe —who is described as being 130 pounds, 5’6″ tall, with long black hair, a piercing in her upper left ear, and brown eyes— was reported missing after she left her home on April 2. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Departments are searching for her, and asked Samaritans to help out with the case.

Authorities also asked people to call 911 or contact Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 if they spot her.
Monroe lives with her family on Grandview Ridge Drive in Charlotte. She was reportedly last seen in the 7500 block in the evening of April 2.
Monroe was born on November 20, 2002, and her family is concerned for her safety. On social media, her friends and well-wishers are posting pictures of her to help spread awareness, and hopefully help find her sooner.
The case is being monitored closely, and cities in the surrounding area are being combed thoroughly.
