Police in Cleveland, Ohio are on the hunt for a suspect who is believed to have shot up multiple homes and injured a number of people. One victim is a 10-year-old boy who is in critical condition after being shot in the face.
What We Know So Far
Close to 1:00 a.m. on May 3, multiple shots were fired into a home near E. 93 Street and Edmunds Avenue. At least one of the bullets struck a 10-year-old boy.
A number of other people, including the boy’s mother and three other children, were in the home during the shooting. None of them are said to have been injured.
The 10-year-old boy was sleeping upstairs. He was struck in the face and chest after the bullets went through his window.
He was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. After undergoing surgery, he’s said to have good vitals.
Other Cleveland Homes Shot up as Well
According to police, there were two other shootings not too far from this one.
Bullets were fired into a home on Kenmore Avenue, as well as another home on E. 93rd Street, near Wade Park Avenue.
During the Wade Park shooting, a 17-year-old girl was also shot in the face. According to reports, she is currently in stable condition.
No further information on her injuries or the investigation was given, other than the fact that police believe the shootings may be connected.
