1 Dead, 2 Injured in North Harris County Shooting

A shooting in northeast Harris County, Texas left one man dead and two others in hospital with gunshot injuries. Here’s the latest information on the shooting and victims.

3 Shot; 2 Wounded, 1 Dead

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is still trying to put together what exactly happened. But here is what the investigation has revealed so far.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday (May 2) evening, police were called to the 2500 block of Cromwell Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, police found three victims—two men and one woman—who had all been shot.

Despite all three victims quickly being transported to a nearby hospital, one of the two men died of his injuries.

The other male victim is currently listed in critical condition.

The female victim’s condition is currently unknown.

This shooting occurred only half an hour after another weapons incident was reported nearby in northwest Harris County.

Unknown Motives and Suspects

Currently, officials have yet to release much in the way of information on what the motive behind the shooting might have been. According to neighbors, there was some shouting before the sound of gunshots filled the air.

It is currently unknown if anyone else outside of the three injured people was involved in the shooting. The investigation is still ongoing.
